ACTA internet chapter leaked

cmretoschneider | 23.02.2010 12:06

And there we go, a new document about ACTA just found its way to the web. Supposedly it is a draft version of the chapter about the internet.

The document includes some points which critics of ACTA will not accept:

  • Providers will be held liable for the actions of their costumers
  • A de facto duty to monitor all costumer actions and to terminate the contract if necessary

You can find further informations and comments on the document by following the links below (partially german):

As so often we have to state, we don't know any details yet!

It could be that the document is a fake, it could even be that it was leaked with the aim to let the final draft look better when compared to this one. Who knows?

Hint: On Piratepad.net is a work ongoing to translate the document to german, if you speak german and have some spare time, consider lending a hand.
